RICK AYERS

Rick and his wife, Lori, started attending Foothills in 2001. He works as vice president of sales for an industrial manufacturing company, but is most passionate about evangelism and relationships that lead others to a greater faith in Christ. Rick and Lori have three sons, three daughters-in-law and five grandchildren. His favorite Bible verse is 1 Peter 3:15: “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”

JIM BERG

Jim became a Christian in 1977. He and his wife, Jayne, started attending Foothills with their three children in 1998. Jim is a regional sales manager for an organic food ingredient company, but his passion is supporting missions and evangelism. He and Jayne have been involved with the Billy Graham television ministry at Foothills for 10 years. His favorite Scripture is Romans 8, especially Romans 8:31-39.

KEITH CLARK

Keith became a Christian at a very young age and began attending Foothills Church in 1990. He works as senior vice president at Wells Fargo Advisors, and oversees the worship ministry at Foothills. He and his wife, Lourinda, have two married sons: Devin and Bryan. Keith’s favorite Scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

John Mayer

John and his wife, Candy, were part of the group that started Foothills Church in September of 1987. John and Candy were both raised with some church background, but both really came to Christ in December of 1978. They have two married children, four grandchildren, and three young ones that they love like grandchildren. John’s greatest passion is for others to know Christ and to feel the love of community to help them in troubled times. One of his favorite Bible verses is Mark 9:24: “Immediately the boy’s father cried out and said, ‘I do believe; help my unbelief.’”

Jeremy Simpson

Jeremy has been a Christian since 1988; he started attending Foothills Church with his wife, Allyn Ann, and their daughter, Georgia, in August of 2013. Jeremy is a restaurateur with a heart for missions, both locally and internationally. He works closely with the Orange County Rescue Mission, and has traveled to five different countries with the Jesus Film. His favorite Bible verse is Deuteronomy 31:6: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Dennis Soderin

Dennis has been a Christian since 1980, and came to Foothills in 2012. He is a retired banker and currently works as a school bus driver. Dennis and his wife, Bonnie, have two sons and five grandchildren. He is passionate about serving others. Job is his favorite book of the Bible, and his favorite passage of Scripture is Ephesians 2:8-9: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Wayne Van Every

Wayne started attending church when he was nine years old, and was baptized in November of 1972. He and his wife, Sue, started attending Foothills Church in June of 2008. He is retired from a career as a quality engineering manager. His spiritual gift is serving and caring for others, and he is passionate about short term missions. Wayne and Sue have two adult children. His favorite Scripture is Romans 12:9-17.

Michael Williams

The Williams family joined Foothills Church in the spring of 1999. Michael committed his life to Christ at age 14 but truly began walking with the Lord and yielding to the Holy Spirit when his children were born. He and his wife, Shelley, have three children: Bret, Tyler, and Katie. Michael is a senior manager for Southern California Edison, where he has served since 2009. He has been told he has the gift of spiritual discernment, and he loves to encourage others. One of his favorite scriptures is Proverbs 3:5-12.
