The Prayer Chain

The prayer chain is for urgent prayer needs, and consists of a number of volunteers at Foothills who pray immediately for the needs that come up. Send emails to foothillsprayer@yahoo.com.

Sunday Morning Prayer Group

Meets in the prayer room before the service at 8:30 and prays for the requests from the church bulletin and non-confidential items from the prayer chain.

Prayer Room

For anyone who would like to pray with a male or female counselor in the prayer room.

Get Up and Pray

Friday morning at 8am throughout summer. 6:30-7:15 during school year

Intercessory Prayer at Foothills

Why do we pray? To allow God access into our hearts and lives.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

As Paul stated in Romans 1:12, “...that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.” I hope that being an intercessor will assist us in being more like Christ and allow our faith to grow. Jesus said, “ Apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
