Welcome to MUMs!
MUMs is "Molding Unique Moms," Foothills Church's ministry to mothers of young children.
We believe all moms and women are created unique and called to serve different purposes by God. This doesn't mean one is less or greater than the other but that we are all equally the same in God's eyes and loved by Him. We can live in freedom that we are exactly where we know God has called us to be.
In that freedom, we celebrate our uniqueness and individuality as women of God. Sometimes in the thick of motherhood we forget who we are and what makes us special. It's there that God brings us friends who encourage us when we need it, who help us go after our goals, remind us why we are special and just love on us.
Our prayer for this group is that you can build strong friendships and real relationships. That you feel a sense of belonging and purpose. We pray you can celebrate the special and unique individual that you are. Above all this, we pray that you feel loved and know you are loved by the one who created you.
So whether you're a stay at home mom or working mom, a crunchy, silky or scrunchy (yup. that's a real thing) mom, we welcome you to MUMs!
