jesus film project
Foothills Church has partnered with the JESUS Film Project, which distributes the film "JESUS", a two-hour docudrama about the life of Christ based on the Gospel of Luke. The film has been seen in every country of the world and translated into more than 1,300 languages since its initial release in 1979.
The goal is to reach every nation, tribe, people, and tongue, helping them see and hear the story of Jesus in a language they can understand. So whether a person speaks Swahili, French, or a language whose name is extremely difficult for most to pronounce, he or she will encounter the life and message of Jesus in a language "of the heart."

Foothill Church Prison Ministry has been writing and visiting inmates since 2008, and for the second year, we have decided to also focus some of our love to the innocent children that are suffering because of their parents incarceration.
Angel Tree is a program that connects us with those children in our area. We show them God’s love buy purchasing gifts for their parents and delivering them.
So, how can you help? It’s simple. Please take a name of a child or a type of gift, and bring the unwrapped gift back to church. That’s it!!
Other ways to help are:
· Donating a gift for any child
· Donating a specific gift
· Donating money to purchase a gift.
The women in our Prison Ministry will wrap and deliver your gifts along with the message that Jesus loves them.

Foothills Church has been engaged with our “sister” church, Templo Ebenezer, in the Mexicali region of Mexico for the past several years. Our ministry to the church includes funding and building a new church sanctuary, building and supporting an independent Internet Café business, Vacation Bible Schools for the youth of the village and yearly “Amiga’s” Women’s Retreats. But, more importantly, the two churches share our love for Jesus Christ through our committed relationships to each other. Foothills Church has found that our relationship with our sister church has helped to educate our own congregation in the ways of our neighbors to the south. Come and join us during our day trips down to the village of Jilquilpan!

what in the world in happening....at templo ebenezer?
Temple Ebenezer meets for regular services every Sunday and Tuesday and Family night class every Thursday. The church is open every morning at 5:00 am for those that want to pray.
They are getting the children ready to go back to the Institute on August 28th. In September, they have a 3 day outreach outside of their Institute to reach the families of their village. In October, they are having their annual Family Camp up in the mountains at El Valle De La Trinidad. They are in need of sponsors for this trip as many families do not have the funds to pay for it.
Please join them in prayer for the kids and youth that are going back to school. The children and school are in need of school supplies.
Pray for Pastor Isaias and Salma as they minister to the village. Currently, there are 4 families that are in need of food and clothes. Donations would be greatly appreciated. Email Lori Ayers with any questions.
